Billero – Terms of Use

By using the Billero app, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before use.

1. App and Licence

Billero is an invoicing application designed for freelancers and small businesses. The app is distributed via the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google). By installing the app, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal and business use.

2. Free and Paid Tiers

Billero offers:

• Free: up to 10 issued invoices and up to 10 AI OCR scans
• Billero Pro: unlimited invoicing and AI OCR scans for €2.99/month (auto-renewable subscription)

Note on AI OCR: The AI OCR feature (automatic reading of received invoices) requires the user's own Anthropic API key. This is a third-party service with its own pricing, independent of the Billero subscription. The free tier includes 10 AI OCR scans counted against your personal API key usage; Billero Pro removes the in-app scan limit but does not cover Anthropic API costs.

3. Billero Pro Subscription

• Price: €2.99/month (price may vary by region)
• The subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment is charged upon purchase confirmation via Apple App Store or Google Play
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Upon cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period

4. Data and Privacy

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect personal data. Details: Privacy Policy.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Billero app is provided "as is". We accept no responsibility for errors in calculations, tax amounts, or invoice formatting. The suitability of invoices for tax purposes is the responsibility of the user.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. For significant changes, we will notify users within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
